FLOPPY PHONICS

FLOPPY PHONICS

We have started the school year with a new method to learn phonics. It is called Floppy Phonics. Students enjoy exploring and playing with the patterns and sounds of language. This will help them to develop good reading and speaking skills from an early age.

Learning sounds can be fun and easy: playing games, learning new songs, using our body language, flashcards as well as crafts.

This month, we are learning the sound /s/. Do you know a word beginning with the sound /s/? We do!!!: snake, sun, smile, spider, and squirrel. At the end of the lesson we make some snakes and put them up in the classroom.

We will keep you posted on our new adventure!

LA "C" Y LA "Z"

Esta semana estamos muy pendientes de que no hagan travesuras el Príncipe E y la Princesita I, ya que por fin hemos encontrado a la señorita C para que salga a pasear con ellos. La señora Z está tan enfadada con estos hermanitos que nunca más va a salir a pasear con ellos…pero ¡¡¡nunca jamás!!!

Así que ya sabéis…si les escucháis en palabras como cepillo, piscina, cena, cima o cebolla recordad que están de la manita de la señorita c. No caigáis en la trampa y recordad lo enfadada que está la señora Z.

INTERHOUSE 16 DE SEPTIEMBRE

El día 16 de octubre celebramos el primer “Interhouse” del trimestre. Los alumnos de Ed. Infantil pasaron una tarde divertida compitiendo entre las diferentes casas.

Los niños de 3 años era la primera vez que lo hacían, eso causo que hubiese caras de “sorpresa”, de “susto” de “alegría”…. a medida que las actividades fueron transcurriendo  se fueron relajando y disfrutando de estar con el resto de compañeros y con los padres que nos acompañaron.

HALLOWEEN

Last Halloween was very special for Laude Fontenebro Junior School.

The children had to look for a treasure, following the clues they found in every class. At the end of the day, they ate their treasures.

There wasn´t anything left!!!

20 DE NOVIEMBRE - DIA DEL NIÑO EN JUNIOR SCHOOL

On November 20^th we celebrated Children’s Rights. The Five years old have learnt that they enjoy many rights such as: the right to have a house, a family, to be loved… and to have an education!!

We made some schoolbacks out of paper to symbolize this Right. And have talked about how lucky we are compared to other children from some parts of the world.

¡Comienza un nuevo curso!

Ha empezado el curso en nuestro Junior School. Nuestros pequeños estaban muy ilusionados por volver a ver a los compañeros, y también han conocido a amigos nuevos este año. Ya han conseguido adaptarse a las rutinas del cole, y están preparados para seguir aprendiendo. ¡Nos espera un año estupendo!
